...from the USA's own Bureau of Land Management.
A newsletter from the Cloud Foundation reads ;
Colorado Springs, CO (July 7, 2008) – Claiming that they have a budget crisis
the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the government agency charged with
protecting wild horses, announced plans to consider euthanizing some or all of
the 33,000 wild horses they have rounded up and confined in holding
facilities.......
......Since 2000, BLM has conducted massive round ups, removing over 75,000
horses from the range, driving the wild mustang population to the brink of
extinction. Currently, there are few wild horse herds large enough to maintain
their long-term viability.
Yes you read it right :
Thirty Three Thousand wild horses are under threat of slaughter in the
USA.
A
country whose history was written from the back of a horse !
THIS SIMPLY CANT BE
ALLOWED TO HAPPEN.
For the BLM to have even THOUGHT of this idea was SHAMEFUL.
